Yuri is a 2D platformer puzzle game where players help Yuri navigate through various landscapes to reach the Tree of Life and find a cure for Yuri's sickness.
I developed this game using the Construct game engine as part of my final major project for Level 2 of my college course. I am quite pleased with the result and look forward to creating even better games in the future.
I am particularly proud of the programming and audio elements in the game. I aimed to create unique mechanics, which led to the concept of carrying Yuri throughout the game. I recorded my own foley sound effects for all audio assets, including walking, climbing, and throwing. While the game could have been longer and the 2D assets could have been visually enhanced, these were not my primary focus.
Overall, I am happy with what I achieved and hope to continue improving my game development skills.
