Unseen Deception is a survival horror game where you explore an abandoned house in search of answers, only to find yourself mysteriously locked inside. To escape, you'll need to search for clues and use your wits, all while something unsettling may be lurking just out of sight.
I created this game using Unity as part of my final major project during college. The goal was to bring together everything we’d learned over the year and apply it to a full game development cycle.
This project gave me the opportunity to explore and implement new game mechanics that I hadn’t worked with before. I was able to experiment with features like AI movement, cinematic cutscenes, and a mini-map system, which ended up playing a key role in the gameplay.
Due to time constraints, I wasn’t able to create every asset from scratch, so I used some outsourced audio and 3D models to help polish the overall experience. This allowed me to focus more on gameplay systems and functionality while still achieving a strong visual and audio atmosphere.
Overall, I’m really proud of what I accomplished with Unseen Deception. It’s helped me grow my skills, try out new ideas, and given me the confidence to keep building even more ambitious projects in the future.
